What Windows will say when you download
Windows will warn you twice before it lets you run our installer. Both warnings are expected and neither means anything is wrong with the file. Here is exactly what you will see, and what to click.
1 · “isn’t commonly downloaded”
In your browser’s download list, open the … menu beside the file and choose Keep.
2 · SmartScreen asks again
The button says Delete. Open the arrow beside it and choose Keep anyway.
Read the Publisher line first. It must say TrustDID Solutions Inc. That line is the signature, checked by Windows against our code-signing certificate — it is the part a forger cannot fake. If it says anything else, or is missing, stop and tell us.
What's inside every software bundle
Every tier ships from the same build pipeline — what you get is determined by the
manifest of your tier. The local TrustDID service is bundled in and registered automatically
as a Windows service (by the setup.exe installer) or a systemd unit
(by install.sh on Linux).
